The video shared on TikTok on Tuesday by the granddaughter, under the username Hisgirlgracieee, shows the young woman bursting into tears as she opens her front door to find a car wrapped up in a giant red bow waiting for her outside.
It comes with a caption that says: “I’m so blessed my nan sold my grandad’s car, as he passed not so long ago, and surprised me with a car and said ‘grandad and me wanted to give you a present,’ they’re the most generous loving people I know, I’m forever grateful - I know he was watching down in that moment, with all the family.”

The American Automobile Association (AAA) says that the average cost to own and operate a new car in 2022 has soared about 11 percent since 2021 to $10,728 per year, just under $900 per month.
According to the AAA, today’s national gas-price average is $3.214 per gallon. The highest price is in Hawaii where regular costs about $5.154, and the lowest is in Texas, where it costs only about $2.670.
The video quickly went viral on the platform and has so far received more than 945,500 views and 172,400 likes.
One TikToker, Hannah, commented: “Aw I’m crying this is so wholesome would be so proud of you,” while geordisure wrote: “I’m currently sat watching this on repeat balling my eyes out. the ending.”
