Wisconsin Tabs Former Uic Coach Howard Moore As Assistant

Moore played at Wisconsin from 1990-95 and coached under Ryan from 2005-10. He previously was an assistant at Bradley, Ball State and Loyola.

Moore served as head coach for five seasons at UIC before being dismissed in March with a 49-111 record. After being hired in August 2010 he was able to improve the Flames to 18-16 by 2012-13, but the team slipped in the next two seasons.

Moore lately had been serving as a studio analyst on the Big Ten Network’s college basketball broadcasts.
