Natalia Chorna said they hanged her 56-year-old sister Tetiana Mudrenko, who worked as a nurse, in the streets of Skadovsk, the Financial Times reported on Friday. Chorna previously warned her sister about being outspoken about Russia’s war in Ukraine, however she would repeatedly confront Russian troops. Last month, Mudrenko condemned Ukrainian police officers for cooperating with the Russians and cried out that “Skadovsk is Ukraine!” Prior to her sister’s execution, Chorna tried to contact Mudrenko on October 7 to check on her following that confrontation, but the call dropped....

Around 10 p.m., officers caught 67-year-old Marilyn Hartman trying to move TSA line dividers. She was then apprehended and taken into custody, where she awaits formal charges. The Court of Sudak in Russian-occupied Crimea handed down the sentence Wednesday to Valeria Goldenberg Mikhailovna, from the village of Solnechnaya Dolina in Crimea. The court found the 60-year-old guilty of having desecrated the burial place of a serviceman who died in March during the “special military operation” in Ukraine. The court also ordered her to pay a fine of 500,000 rubles ($8,830) to the victim’s relatives after they claimed compensation for moral damages at twice the amount....
